This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which Vesper Rouge may accept returns and process refunds.

By placing an order with Vesper Rouge, you agree that returns and refunds will be handled strictly in accordance with this Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to returns and refunds for products purchased from Vesper Rouge through www.vesperrouge.com or any authorised Vesper Rouge sales channel.

This Policy must be read together with the Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Contact Information document.

2. Bespoke and Made-to-Order Nature

Vesper Rouge pieces may be bespoke, made-to-order, limited-run, or order-specific. Production, sourcing, finishing, quality checking, or packing may begin almost immediately after order placement.

Customers must carefully review product details, size, fit, measurements, fabric, colour, shipping information, and order details before placing an order.

3. No Cancellation After Order Placement

Cancellations are not allowed once an order is placed.

This is because manufacturing, sourcing, finishing, quality checking, or order-specific preparation may begin almost immediately after order confirmation. By placing an order, the customer agrees that the order cannot be cancelled unless Vesper Rouge expressly approves cancellation in writing or cancellation is required by applicable law.

4. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted only if the return is approved by Vesper Rouge and all conditions in this Policy are satisfied.

The garment must be unused.
The garment must be unworn except for careful trial.
The garment must be unwashed.
The garment must be unaltered.
The garment must be undamaged.
All labels must be intact.
All tags must remain attached.
Original packaging must be intact and returned.
Any garment bags, inserts, cards, accessories, or protective packaging must be returned.
The product must have no stains, perfume, deodorant, makeup, sweat, body odour, food marks, oil marks, tears, pulls, burns, or other marks.
The product must be in resaleable condition.
The product must pass Vesper Rouge quality inspection after receipt at our facility.

5. Non-Returnable Products

Vesper Rouge may reject returns for products that are used, worn, washed, altered, damaged, stained, missing labels, missing tags, missing packaging, or not in resaleable condition.

Products damaged by customer handling, storage, washing, ironing, dry cleaning, perfume, makeup, sweat, tearing, pulling, or misuse.
Products returned after the permitted timeline.
Products sent without prior written approval from Vesper Rouge.
Products that are not the same product delivered to the customer.
Products purchased during final sale, clearance, or special promotion where stated as non-returnable.
Bespoke or customised products where return is not approved by Vesper Rouge, subject to applicable law.

6. Return Request Timeline

Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery unless a different timeline is expressly stated in writing by Vesper Rouge.

Requests received after this timeline may be rejected, especially where product condition, package condition, courier handling, or customer usage cannot be reliably verified.

7. How to Raise a Return Request

To request a return, the customer must email orders@vesperrouge.com with complete information.

Order number.
Full name.
Phone number.
Email address.
Product name.
Delivery date.
Reason for return.
Clear photographs of the product.
Clear photographs of tags and labels.
Clear photographs of packaging.
Unboxing video, where available.
Any other information requested by Vesper Rouge for verification.
Do not send any product back without written approval from Vesper Rouge. Products returned without approval may be rejected, returned to sender, or held without refund, subject to applicable law.

8. Domestic Returns

For approved domestic returns within India, Vesper Rouge will organise return pickup through its courier partner where reverse pickup service is available.

The customer must keep the garment safely packed in its original packaging and make it available for pickup at the agreed time and address.

If reverse pickup is not available in the customer location, or if pickup fails due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or lack of cooperation, Vesper Rouge may require the customer to ship the product back using a reliable courier.

9. International Returns

For international orders, the customer must ship the approved return back to Vesper Rouge at the customer own cost.

The customer must use a reliable, trackable courier service and share tracking details with Vesper Rouge.

International return shipping charges, customs duties, import charges, taxes, brokerage charges, insurance, storage charges, bank charges, and any other charges connected with return shipping shall be borne solely by the customer unless Vesper Rouge confirms otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

Vesper Rouge shall not be responsible for loss, delay, customs hold, damage, seizure, or non-delivery of an international return shipment arranged by the customer.

10. Return Address

Approved returns must be sent only to the address confirmed by Vesper Rouge in writing. The standard return address is:

Vesper Rouge may update the return address for operational reasons. Customers must use the return address provided in the approval email.

11. Quality Inspection

Every returned product will be inspected after receipt at the Vesper Rouge facility.

Vesper Rouge may reject the return if the product appears used, worn, washed, altered, damaged, stained, scented, missing labels, missing tags, missing packaging, missing accessories, or not in resaleable condition.

The decision of Vesper Rouge after quality inspection shall be final, subject to applicable law.

12. Refund Timeline

Refunds for approved returns will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned product at the Vesper Rouge facility and completing quality inspection.

The time taken for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway, wallet provider, UPI provider, currency conversion process, or other payment intermediary.

13. Refund Method and Deductions

Refunds may be processed to the original payment method or another method approved by Vesper Rouge.

The refundable amount may exclude international shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, local levies, bank charges, currency conversion charges, payment gateway charges, failed delivery charges, return shipping charges for international returns, and any charges caused by customer error, where permitted by law.

For billing, tax, credit note, accounting, payment reconciliation, and statutory records, relevant refund documentation may refer to DAYS Group Of Companies where applicable. Vesper Rouge remains the customer-facing brand for order support and customer communication.

14. Damaged, Wrong, or Defective Product Claims

Any claim relating to a damaged product, wrong product, missing item, or manufacturing concern must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

The customer must provide clear photographs, packaging photographs, label photographs, order details, and an unboxing video where available. Vesper Rouge may reject claims that are unsupported, delayed, inconsistent, or not verifiable.

Damage caused by customer handling, storage, wearing, washing, ironing, dry cleaning, alteration, perfume, makeup, stains, tearing, or misuse will not be treated as a manufacturing defect.

15. Rejected Returns

If a return is rejected after inspection, Vesper Rouge may notify the customer and may require the customer to pay re-shipping charges if the customer wants the product sent back.

If the customer does not respond within a reasonable time, Vesper Rouge may hold the product for a limited period and shall not be responsible for storage delay, deterioration, or further handling issues, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Abuse of Return Policy

Vesper Rouge reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected fraud, policy abuse, repeated excessive returns, false claims, product switching, damaged returns, misuse of customer support, or violation of this Policy.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Return and Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising out of or in connection with returns, refunds, cancellations, product condition, rejected returns, or this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
